The app has no accounts, no servers, no analytics and no ads. Everything you put into offday stays on your iPhone. We never see it, because there's nowhere for it to go.
To do its job, the app saves a few things on your iPhone:
All of it lives in the app's own storage on your device. None of it is sent to us or anyone else. offday doesn't connect to any server of ours, and we don't run one.
If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, offday's data is included like any other app's. Those backups are handled by Apple and your own computer, not by us, under Apple's privacy policy.
offday's subscription and free trial are sold through the App Store. Apple handles the payment, so we never see your card or your Apple Account details. The app only asks Apple, on your device, whether your subscription is active.
Like every developer, we can see App Store sales reports from Apple. They show figures like how many subscriptions were sold in a country, not who bought them.
When you start a free trial, offday asks for permission to send you one reminder before the trial ends. If you allow it, the reminder is scheduled on your iPhone itself. You can turn notifications off at any time in Settings.
You can export your history as a CSV file from Insights. The file is made on your iPhone and goes only where you choose to send it, through the share sheet.
Delete offday from your iPhone and everything it saved is deleted with it. Because nothing is kept anywhere else, there's nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
offday isn't aimed at children under 13. It doesn't collect personal information from anyone, children included.
This website, unlike the app, does measure its visitors, so we can see whether anyone is finding it. It uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views, where visitors came from, and their country, browser and device type. It doesn't use cookies or store anything on your device, doesn't fingerprint you, and doesn't follow you across other sites. We only ever see totals, never individual visitors.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives your IP address when your browser asks for a page, and may keep it briefly in its logs to keep the site secure and running. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
The site's typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google's servers for the font files and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. See Google's privacy policy for how they handle it.
If offday ever changes how it handles your information, this page will be updated first and the date at the top will change with it.
